A popular boat for many years, the Luhrs 40 Convertible is a big 40-footer by any standard. With an LOA of nearly 41 feet and a beam of 14’11” feet, she dwarfs other boats in this class when it comes to interior space and accommodations. The 40 CNV rides on a modified-V hull with generous flare at the bow and balsa coring in the hullsides. The cherry interior has a two-stateroom configuration featuring a spacious main salon with convertible sofa to port and the galley forward, a large master stateroom forward, and a port guest cabin with over/under single berths. The double-entry head has a separate stall shower. A large cockpit with molded tackle centers, transom livewell, and in-deck fish/storage boxes provides a stable fishing platform. The 380/40/38 came with a long inventory of standard equipment including air conditioning, generator, rocket launchers, and factory hardtop.
